Does this mark the beginning?

I think it sure does! But the beginning to what exactly?

In less than 9 months I'll be starting a life on my own, Houston here I come!

I'm in the transitional phase of my life where soon I'll be leaving for college and will be facing the world on my own, now between class overloads, college applications, and the never ending search for my sanity is where running comes into place.

I'm running with only one goal in mind; to reach complete mind and body fitness. Along the way I plan on tackling the BIG 13.1 and 26.2 LET THE TRAINING BEGIN!

Now that I got all that mumbo jumbo out of the way here's a bit about me...

My name is Nikki if you couldn't tell by now. I love to love, I love glitter, and I love run, I'm a geeks dream girl, glasses and pocket protector in tact, I love science and will be pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering and hope to enter Medical School. Yeah, I'm that smart, surprising right? Ha my dogs are my babies and I'll find parting with them to be the hardest thing about going to college. Running gives me a sense of inner peace, Running keeps me sane, Running=Love.
